Jaipuria Institute of Management

On 11th July 2015 Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow organized a workshop on Mozilla  App Development to promote an open source technology under the guidance of Dr. Ankit Mehrotra, Area Chair-IS.
I was invited in the college as a guest speaker and  Ankita Mishra, student ambassador accompnied me in organizing and having a no budget event done in the best possible way it can be done .

Students were informed about mozilla's mission of “To create free, open and innovative web”
During the workshop the students were acquainted with Mozilla, a free and open-source web browser developed for Windows, OS X, and Linux, with a mobile version for Android, by the Mozilla Foundation and its subsidiary, the Mozilla Corporation. The students also got insights into Firefox Operating System applications. Web development is basically used for making websites on internet through various options available. I threw light on app development with the help of HTML , CSS and JS .

The whole Mozillian Team made the workshop interactive by distributing goodies that included badges, t-shirts and stickers of Mozilla. At the end Mozillians formed a club of some students of Jaipuria to conduct more such workshops at Jaipuria and other colleges as well, thus giving them an opportunity to grow, innovate and share.
